Go Bamboo Biodegradable Clothes Pegs 20 Pack Reviews

Introducing Go Bamboo clothes pegs, made from sustainable, biodegradable bamboo with a degradable steel spring, packaged in a recycled cardboard box. We are always finding clothes pegs washed up on our local beach, this is because they fall off the line and get flushed down drains by storm water, eventually finding their way into the sea. Bamboo clothes pegs are an environmentally friendly and sustainable alterative to plastic pegs and are incredibly strong and durable in Australia and NZ's harsh UV conditions. Bamboo naturally contains very few tannins (unlike wooden pegs) so won't stain your light coloured clothes. Storage: Remember these are made of bamboo and metal, so need to be stored inside in your peg basket or laundry. Pegs left outside on the line will eventually rust and go mouldy from rain or morning dew.Size - Box of 20.

Appear stronger and better quality than wooden pegs. Not able to be left outside. Not as cheap as plastic. Uncertain regarding how long they last, having just bought them. Purchased a few for gifts to get family members to try something non-plastic.

Love that they are not plastic. Stronger than the wooden pegs in stores. Like wooden pegs - difficult to clean and cannot be left out doors for extended periods. More expensive than plastic - so I doubt it will encourage many to switch.

After rain they grew mould/ mildrew on them. Threw them out after a few weeks so can not recommend. An expensive waste of resources. Perhaps I should have kept them inside but they were in the peg basket at the clothesline in the sun. Shop Naturally Note: As these are made from natural fibers, we recommend not leaving them on your line.

The pegs are really good. Would be better if the shiny surface was inside the peg & the rough outside as I found my fingers slipped off the peg when taking clothes off the Line. Great idea.

I bought some to try, not being sure if they would be strong enough, but I have been pleasantly surprised. They have a great deal of strength in them and I expect them to last longer than my old pegs. Enjoy hanging out the washing!!
