Grants of Australia have released a series of bamboo toothbrushes to be used with their natural toothpaste range. The handle is made from 100% biodegradable and sustainable bamboo.  The bristles are as eco friendly as can be while still performing and not wearing out too quickly.  They are 62% castor bean oil and 38% plastic. When you're finished with the toothbrush, either snap the head off for recycling or use plyers to pull the bristles out. The bristles can be recycled. The bare handle can be composted. The packaging is plastic free - packed in an outer cardboard box, and for hygiene, the brush is packed in what may look like a plastic bag, but it is corn starch that can be composted. The box can be recycled.SIZE - AdultBRISTLES - MediumCARE INSTRUCTIONS - rinse before and after use. Allow to completely dry in open air toothbrush holder between uses. Replace every 3 months or after illness.

Love a cheap, easy, eco option for a toothbrush. Eventually you might find that the bristles fall out as you're brushing but if you've reached that point, you're probably well overdue for a new brush anyway!

Not my favourite. Some of the bristles came off time after time.

Have used this toothbrush for a number of weeks now, and so far it's holding up well.
