Biodegradable toothbrush and packaging (1 year compost)Made from non-GMO corn starchBPA FreeFrom the makers of Jack n Jill kids dental products comes The Natural Family Co with their adult offering. This is a truly eco friendly company. The toothbrush handles are made from non-GMO corn starch with soft nylon bristles (they're not 'too' soft though). Both the toothbrush hand and all the packaging are completely biodegradable. To dispose of, break off the head, check with local recycling as to whether they will accept the nylon bristles. The brush handle can be put in to home composting and will break down in around 12 months. In commercial composting, it only takes 90 days.Let's step outside the eco benefits and look at the brush. It's nice to hold, the ergonomics of the curved handle make it easier to use. While the brushes only come in Soft, it's actually not too soft, so the firmness sits in the middle of what most people would consider Soft or Medium bristles."After road testing this toothbrush, it's all I use now. ~ Joanne Musgrave, Shop Naturally owner."For cleanliness, you can buy the brushes as a single brush in a resin stand so they never need to touch the bench or other beauty products in your bathroom drawer and then in refill pairs, making them an affordable natural solution. The brushes are available in 4 different colour options.Colour - 1x River Mint & 1x Monsoon MistFirmness - SoftProduct Origin - Australian company. Made responsibly in China.

The handle on these toothbrushes is great. I have tried bamboo and just didn't like the texture of the bamboo handle in my mouth, but these are really good. I do prefer a bit more of a firm bristle, but these are the best i've tried so far. My teen son loves his.

Really like these toothbrushes. Comfortable to use and bristles are just right. Sometimes the head breaks off when I am using but that is always around replacement time anyway so is a reminder of sorts!

For the money, these are some of the best toothbrushes out there. The handle feels nice and is more comfortable than bamboo in the mouth. The bristles are very soft. I want to love eco-friendly toothbrushes, but sadly I still haven't found anything that gets my teeth feeling as good as a brush with the contours and varying-stiffness bristles from the conventional brands. These are probably the closest so far though.
