“Just purchased this to replace my old one. I use this board in crowded areas and shore dumps where I don't want to damage my board, me or other people. It's one of the few foamies that will take a tail and deck pad which is why I like it. It handles and turns well but the fins are very soft so I find I have to surf off the back foot. If your looking to improve I'd change them fairly early on. The board doesn't like too much heat so in the summer I wind the windows down on the car and use silver windscreen reflector to prevent any heat damage. I'm just over 12 stone and find the 5'7 does everything I want but I have been surfing a while and if your starting out you might want to go larger.”
