I’ve been surfing for 30 years in Scotland and have had 3 ops for surfers’ ear, so plugs are essential! These are the best available IMO if you want to be able to hear from what’s going on in the lineup… Version 3 are also comfortable, but I find the leash annoying and they’re not cheap when you inevitably loose one! Highly recommended

They definitely worked for me. Kept the wind and water out well, only fell out of one ear once during a 3 hour test surf. The sound was definitely muffled but you could hear if people shouted, and i had to shout back because i thought i was talking much louder than I was! But to have sound and protection from ear infections was definitely worth the money.

These have saved my ears. I was having real trouble with surfer's ear and other ear plugs were either uncomfortable or fell out too easily. These ear plugs are great. The amount of hearing you retain is slightly better than with conventional ear plugs (but don't expect a miracle though, you still end up shouting and being shouted at a lot).

I bought these earplugs for my summer holidays, I had some silicone plugs before but they didn't do a great job of keeping water out. Although these are expensive they are absolutely fantastic and dont let any water in. They allow sound in which is really useful and also look and feel well made. Very happy with my purchase. Great product.

To keep it short, these are worth the investment if you are in the water a lot. Now a bit longer, For kitesurfing, having cold wind and water blasted into your ears is damaging over time and these are proven to reduce that. In terms of fit, they are solid, have never come out and don't feel them physically. You lose a bit of sound but not all but they do a job and do it well. Just wish they made an earphone version to listen to music with the same bud design as all earphones I ever use fall out way to easily. Actually put some spare surf ears silicon tips that came with these on earphones and they are great at keeping them in so id recommend that too.

I have spent money on all sorts of ear plugs - and have quite a few single ear plugs as I lose one - or both! These are brilliant! Easy to use and work really well. I can hear people speak - very important when coaching - and they are very comfortable. PLUS I still have them both because they are attached! Works out far cheaper in the long run than buying - and losing - cheap ones which are nowhere near as comfortable
