“Firstly about Shore: Really good service, it was no problem for you to delay dispatch of the two kayaks for a week or so, so that delivery was on a particular day a little into the future. And all this at a really good price. Very pleased with the kayaks. We use them mainly on the lower parts of the River Dart. They track really well in a straight line, particularly with the skeg down. Excellent in calm and rough conditions. They suit a range of sizes and weights; I am 6' 5" and 15 stone yet they are ideal for people half my weight. The storage features are excellent, giving plenty of easy access for dry storage and a drinks bottle. We have the more expensive option for the seat - this is really comfortable. The small central hatch cover is not attached to anything and could become lost. We have used a small stainless steel screw into the central moulding feature with some 2 mm cord to attach this to the inner bag. The spring shackles used on the seating for attachment could be sized slightly better; there is a technique to undoing them as the spacing in the shackle opening is a very tight fit for the attachment point. Perhaps next year I should get out my metal file. These two points are extremely minor and in a way show the high quality of everything else. I would definitely buy again and so glad we did not go for a cheaper kayak. 10 out of 10.”
