“We've loved using the Gemini this summer; we've used it at sea to paddle along the Northumberland coastline and also on the canal that runs past our home. It's been a great way to have an easy adventure with the family - my husband and I use it regularly but we've also each had sessions out in it with the kids. It moves through the water easily and quickly - we've enjoyed still water days and also a bit of playing in the surf. I don't think the boat itself has any drawbacks, but this was our first kayak purchase so there are definitely some things we will look to improve on next year, the main one being launched. The boat is quite heavy for the two of us, and if we're facing a beach at low tide, it can be pretty exhausting to get to the water, so we purchased a trolley through you guys and it's made life a lot easier.”

“I purchased the kayak after discussing the subject with a friend who has also purchased Scooter from your company. As well as the general quality of the kayak I was initially attracted to the Scooter by the fact that it was light weight and designed in such a way that it was easy to lift to a car roof rack. Both my friend and I are in our mid sixties and easy lifting is an important consideration at our age. I examined my friend’s Scooter prior to purchase and was impressed by the sleek outline of the hull and the quality of the seat. When I first tried out my purchase I was impressed by the Scooter’s response to the paddle, it tracked well and I had no problem coping with choppy conditions. I have had a couple of sit on kayaks in the past and in my view the seating position of the Scooter was excellent particularly the adjustment range and high back. In conclusion I would recommend purchasing from your company as the customer service in general was of a high standard and I would endorse the use of the Wavesport Scooter to anyone who wishes to take up sit on kayaking.”

“The choice of Kayaks on the market is bewildering. However your team were most accommodating and informed in guiding our selection. It really helped us make a great decision. The Scooter Gemini has been much enjoyed by my family this year. The seating position in particular is very comfortable which was a crucial concern. The only surprise is the weight. It is a struggle to carry down the beach particularly at low tide. That is a barrier at times to its use but I suppose it is a big double kayak.”

“Kayaks fab. Tried quite a few different models before settling on the Scooter and am not disappointed. It tracked a lot better than the Feel Free kayak we had before and the quality feels top notch. Ordering and delivery to Ireland went really smoothly. Charges are a pain but something we have to put up with at present. Cant speak more highly of process of order and delivery, very slick!”

“The scooter handles well, have taken on trips across the estuary, used for surfing but also bought thigh straps which were essential to give enough control to surf in the waves. Found the big side handles made it really easy to be able to get the kayak on the roof of my car and the the small front hatch was great for my phone in a aquapac.”

“I purchased a kayak from Shore due to recommendation from a friend. The kayak was delivered quicker than expected, courier very helpful and kayak was wrapped and in excellent condition - I was very pleased. Within a week I had an issue with the kayak which meant it had to be returned. The issue was no ones fault and could have been blamed on user. Shore post sales were excellent and replaced the kayak within days. I can’t give enough praise for Shore for their friendly advice and always picking up the phone and returning emails in good time. A new kayak was sorted and delivered within a week and we have enjoyed it ever since. Perfect fit for me, my wife and little jack russel joe.”

“I have a 2 man version and as that was so good went on to get the same 1 man kayak. It is super stable and doesn’t feel like it would tip over which is good for amateurs like me. It had good hook points for a perimeter cable. The optional more expensive seat is really comfortable. I’m not sure it’s that fast though as it’s not long and thin but turns reasonably well. It looks great and has a useful webbed area behind the seat and bottle holder easily accessible. A minor negative is that the luggage hold is in a stupid place. It’s far away from the seat so there is danger of tipping/falling in whilst trying to get to it and it’s very stiff to turn so takes some welly in a precarious unstable pose. All in all I think it’s an excellent kayak and I reckon it will have a go on the coast in waves too although I haven’t tried that yet although it managed bad conditions on Lake Windermere really well plus the order experience from you guys was great. Kayak was delivered in under 24hrs no problems at all.”
