“Mens Elite 3 Jacket. This is my second SP cycling jacket. My first was the Elite version from 2014 and lasted 11 years which speaks of the quality. The new jacket is the same size large. Side by side with the old has nearly the same cut and proportions. I find the large fits a bit loose but I tried on a friends medium and that was tight for me. I'm a 42 chest and 34 waist. I've only worn the new jacket twice in the rain and it kept me warm and dry. I expect it will perform and last as long as my old one. There are a few changes and downsides. They have done away with the double zipper. The ability to unzip from the bottom is a really big help for comfort by eliminating waist bunching when leaning forward on the bike. They have a small strap and snap near the top I'm assuming to use the jacket as a cape but I was unable to unzip and fasten that on the fly without stopping. The pit zips are shorter which may affect ventilation. The neck collar is tall as well which rubs and bugs me some when riding.”
