“Had to update to 1 star from 2. Riding this evening and on every descent, no airflow with side vents open all the way. By far the worst cycling jacket I have ever purchased. High quality production, poor design. Venting poor, unable to dump heat while hiking. Really unfortunate that two-way zipper not used which limits venting options and limits options for using with harness. venting slots with limited opening due to mesh backing, length and position also interferes with harness (if wearing harness over jacket). Jacket is marketed as "multi-use" and not just cycling. Lastly, hand pockets have mesh lining in communication with inside and immediately adjascent to venting slots which means they get wet - no fun to put hands in wet pockets. Shoulder patches seem like a great idea for resisting wear with backpack. Hood is borderline with helmet with some limitation in lateral head movement. For my purposes, I will have to replace unfortunately. Strictly used for cycling or casual use would likely be excellent. I will say there seems to be just the right amount of room for baselayers.”
