“We had our first day of storm season and I decided it was a good time to try out the jacket.
I was 100% dry from the rain, and the jacket breathability kept me dry from my sweat. I had the same amount of sweat compared to when I'd cycle with just a technical top.
Because you can adjust the width of the cuffs, the arm length wasn't an issue (I'm 5'2, got a medium, and arm length was fine for me) since it'll stay tightly in place.
I felt very visible and the jacket didn't feel intrusive. The fit allows for room to wear a sweater under for winter riding, but not overly loose that wearing a tshirt under would make you feel like you're wearing a paperbag.
Am really happy with the jacket! Worth the money.”
“Jacket keeps me dry in very intense rain. I like that the sleeves are a little longer (I got a M) because it fully covers my arms. However I did find the shoulders a little bulky, but I guess it's different for everyone depending on their body build.”
“I haven't been able to test my new Transit Jacket in the rain yet, which is one reason for a 4-star rating rather than 5 (it's been great for X-country skiing). I love the fit (thank you for making athletic gear for larger body-types!), colour, and the fact that it doubles well as a city jacket and cycling jacket (handwarmer pockets, the drop-down tail, etc so it isn't too obviously a bike jacket). Two small criticisms - why the reversed zipper for the women's jacket, and why only one anchor point for the compatible rain hood (there are three velcro points on the hood, but only one on the jacket).”
