“I have used my new Showers Pass Waterproof Gloves several times as a base layer when snowshoe running. 1st time I used them at a snowshoe race in upstate NY recently. I wore them under fleece mittens with waterproof mittens on the 3rd outer layering system with the temperature being minus 5 F. My fingers stayed toasty warm and had to remove the outer mitts after about 2 miles to keep from overheating. Used them on several other snowshoe runs and race again as a base layer with fleece mittens over. Have yet to try them in the rain, but that time will come in a few months.”
“These gloves are a game changer for rainy, cold rides! As far as my hand are concerned, they might as well be enjoying a warm vacation rather than the cool wet air of the PNW!”
“I bought these gloves for cold weather riding AFTER buying and trying several other gloves. I find these gloves to be very warm and comfortable even in cool wet weather. And they provide adequate padding for bicycling on-road or off-road. some of my other gloves - I had to wear cycling gloves beneath - NOT these showers pass gloves!
I like the showers pass so much - I am planning to try using them when I go skiing in a few weeks.”
“When the Showers Pass gloves arrived, I put them on. They were knit and fit very snugly. They felt moderately insulated and somehow... different. I went to the sink and stuck my hand under the running tap for a minute. The water didn't stick to them in any way. It was surreal. I showed my daughter. She was amazed, too. I've been wearing them on my ride ever since. They've kept my hands reasonable warm down to 38F and most days are perfect of the 45F and rain of Seattle. They do get a bit damp on the inside from sweat but, again, very oddly, not too much so. I've really never worn better gloves for biking. Don't waste your money on any other glove. These are what you need.”
“Purchased gifts for newly landed Park Preserve official who complained of wet and rain. Knew just the thing to get him and it was a true positive! He's raving about the socks and gloves.”
