“Exceptional shorts for gravel riding, hiking, or less active pursuits. I purchased one pair last year and two pair this summer. Love them all. The black DWR version doesn't show sweat, which makes it ideal for cafe stops or socializing after a ride. The dark shadow (grey) non-DWR version is lighter-weight fabric but still sturdy. I love the fit, especially because the adjustable tabs help snug things up when needed while letting me hang (slightly) looser for relaxation. I can understand why some people may prefer zip closures on the front pockets for non-cycling uses but my primary purpose is gravel riding. I store my phone, wallet, keys, etc. in a handlebar bag for freedom of movement. And these shorts really offer freedom of movement, thanks to thoughtful design. The fabric moves with me, not against me, thanks to an ideal inseam length, unobtrusive seams, and some stretch in key places. The silicone grip in back prevents the dreaded downward drift. Overall, these shorts are one of the best investments I ever made in cycling gear.”
