“Product arrived well packaged and earlier than expected. All pieces present and was exactly as described. I am delighted with the handrail with one exception, the wood is rough and needs sanding. Given that the whole purpose of the rail is to run your hand along it this isn't great!!”

Hi Patricia, Thank you for your review. The rails are sold as unfinished handrails. We do sand them as much as we can in house however it is left for the customer to add a final finish/ product to give it a finished appearance. as everyone wants different finishes to them. Simplehandrails.co.uk

“Oak rail is nicely finished, but very difficult to join the two handrails so that the entire rail is straight. Design would be better if the joining piece and end caps covered the oak rather than butting on to it.”
