“I have given the stainless stairway handrail & brackets supplied a 5* due to its quality. However upon fitting the handrail I found my hallway wall was not quite straight after the walls had been recently skimmed with new plaster. Having been in the Architectural & Metalwork trade for over 30 years and worked with, fabricated & installed stainless steel balustrades & handrails onsite I know these handrail brackets supplied are mass produced in the workshop. I did contact Simple Handrails as I needed just 3 of the round backing plates which make up the brackets to enable me to pack out and straighten the stair handrail supplied. Unfortunately I was met with an abrupt person who didn't give me a chance to explain my predicament and just stated Simple Handrails do not sell bracket items separately. Just for this reason I'd only give your aftercare service a 1*.....I have now had to purchase 3 of your brackets just so I can use the round backing plates as a packer I feel this classes as a -1*...Thanks for your help.”
