“After putting hours into the Simucube ActivePedals, I can confidently say there is absolutely no going back. Replacing physical springs and rubbers with a software-controlled motor is pure genius.What I love: Feeling the actual ABS vibrate under my foot feels exactly like a real race car. I can instantly change it from a rock-solid F1 brake to a progressive GT pedal with one click, without ever touching a wrench. The painful truth: the price is brutal. A single pedal costs way more than a complete, premium three-pedal set. If you have the budget and want zero compromises, just get it. It is on an entirely different level—the undisputed king of sim racing.”

“Contrary to what the reviews I'd read led me tl believe, this pedal is by far the smoothest I've ever used. I was on the fence about purchasing because I'd hear about notchiness and it being loud but it's been the opposite of both. If I had to complain I'd say that the available instructions aren't the best, for the cost I would expect a much more in depth explanation of what each adjustment does and how to take advantage of them. Outside of that the Active Pedal far exceeds in pedal/peripheral combo I've ever used. The antilock feedback feels like actual ABS feedback that pulses the pedal not just a vibration or thumping on the pedal to say I've crossed a threshold. It makes it so much easier to modulate. This is coming from an intermediate driver at best. I'm using an AP brake and w/passive throttle mounted on SC pedal tray. I couldn't be happier with the result!”

“This review is about the Simucube ActivePedal. The device is absolutely amazing! I can use brake profiles for different cars such as Rental Kart, Formula, GT car, street car, SUV, etc. I can even model the profile of crooked brake discs that can be used on an old historic car. Absolutely amazing! Simucube Tuner is a pleasant-looking user interface and it's pretty easy to use, as long as you know what you're aiming for. The tuner profile is in JSON format, making it easy to read and manipulate. With ActivePedal, it's really enjoyable to drive, for example, a 90's sports car, where the brakes are not in the class of a racing car. Then you can go driving a race car and you can automatically make a switch to a race car brake profile. I bought a Simucube Pedals set with a passive brake included. The quality of the brake is also really excellent. Adjusting the positions is easy, and the mechanics of the device include a component that sounds like a micro switch, which clicks when you change the positions and the position stays in the place, making screw locking easy. I haven't seen anything like this in any of my other devices. The materials are really pleasant in color and style. Pedal plate installation took some time, but eventually I got it installed. There is no talk of a return to the old LC brakes.”
