“Solid build quality, the buttons could be sturdier but there are no problems using them. The button placing is excellent for my use. (VR, so I'm using them "blind".) The rotary encoders are somewhat flimsy and have weak feel, especially the right side rotary encoder/joystick is difficult to use while driving. It's also too far from the wheel rim for my hands.”

“If you use a Simucube QR, you will likely be very pleased with this wheel as it has outstanding quality, excellent wireless, great software support, plug-n-play, and a good feel in hand. It is heavy, but that's something I actually want from this type of wheel. However, if you use a xero-play (or any other superior QR), you will be sadly disappointed by the egregious error to leave you unsupported out-of-the-box. Sure, you can attach the wheel-side xero-play spigot directly to the back of the button box. But I, and every other racer I know, use a common 70mm PCD spacer on the back so we have uniform distance for all our wheels. The shifter paddles are too close for a standard round 70mm PCD to fit, so Simucube's stock spacer has the sides cut off. Pretty cool. However, what isn't cool is that they only tapped 4 holes at the top of the spacer to fit just the Simucube QR. They could EASILY provide tap holes on the top of the spacer to fit 50.8mm or they could simply provide an adapter for a standard 70mm PCD. While I think the Sim Lab spacer would probably work, those aren't carried in my locality and shipping is absurd these days, so I can't say for sure. I ended up taking a track saw to an SRM hub I own and the results were very good. But when I buy a premium wheel, at a premium price, I expect a premium experience. Simucube fell well short, in that regard, on this wheel.”
