“The Pitea SUV tent is a great tent allowing you to use your car trunk as storage space or to sleep in your car and have a lot of space in the tent for living.
The size is impressive 3x3 meters which give you a lot of space. The height allows you to stand without problem (more than 2m).
Mounting the tent is without problem. The connection to the car is easy too. You don't need an SUV it can also be used on any hatchback car, even small ones. The car can be disconnected from the tent within 1-2 minutes. The tent can then be used as stand alone and you can use your car for your daily trip.
I didn't try the additional rain protection which was delivered... I was lucky with the weather.
The only issue is the transportation bag which is of poor quality. The fabric ripped off the first time I tried to pack back the tent into it but it has no impact on the tent itself.
As a conclusion, I would say it's a great tent for a reasonable price to be used for occasional campers who want to sleep in their cars. A good and cheap alternative to a roof tent.”
“das Zelt an sich können wir erst beurteilen, wenn es sich im Urlaub auch bewährt hat, macht aber jetzt schon einen guten Eindruck. Die Zelttasche allerdings ist von erbärmlichem Material und direkt nach dem Probeaufbau beim Einpacken an den Nähten aufgeplatzt. Schade drum!”
