“Chalet Rostaing nails the combination of spacious and cosy, and it's just full of character. I LOVE this chalet, you won't come across another one like it. The bathrooms have been renovated which gives the whole place a renewed feel. The surroundings are beautiful, there's a balcony so beers on the balcony is a very easy option (or in the garden when it isn't covered in snow!) but if you have a little wander up the road (50m) there is a magnificent view and it feels extra special being in Rustic La Villette with the old farm houses opposite. Dinner under the arched ceiling with the fire going is one of the things I keep coming back for. So many lasting memories of great times in Rostaing.”

We do try to create a 'home from home' of sorts which is never easy. Apparently there were a few issues with the dishwasher whist you were there which we are looking into. Next year we'll have a new one in place!

“Such an amazing chalet - so much character, impressive food, great communal areas suitable for games, pre drinks and socialising before and after dinner. Great ambience! It was hard to leave the chalet in the evenings because it's such an enjoyable place to hang out. Skiing off the mountain with a 5 min walk back to afternoon tea at the Chalet is a massive bonus!”

YES!! a 5 minute walk back to the chalet, straight from the slopes IS the charm of La Villette. You are also quite right about the ambience of the chalet, you really don't want to leave in the evenings do you! So please to hear you love it like we do :-)
