Eterra EX-30M Mini Excavator Flail Mower
Description
The Eterra EX-30 Micro Flail Mower is suitable for mini excavators ranging from 2200 lbs. to 7000 lbs., with flow rates of 8-26 GPM. Despite its light frame and weight the EX-30M does not compromise on power. This makes it one of the lightest mowers in the 30" class, capable of operation on the smallest excavators without losing performance. The drive system is recognized for its strength and reliability complete with an electronically balanced cutter shaft that promotes efficient operation and long operating life.
A unique selling feature of Eterra's EX-30 mower is that NO CASE DRAIN IS REQUIRED. The hydraulic setup on this mower is robust enough to only require a one-way flow/breaker setting to be enabled on your excavator, and the mower can handle the rest, allowing you to get to work without having to install extra lines on your machine.
The Eterra Cutter Shaft is made from 5" Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) Tubing, not steel pipe, enhancing its strength and longevity. It is cut and constructed by Eterra, ensuring high-quality. DOM is an electric resistance welded tube that undergoes a cold working process to improve its mechanical properties. It is made from SAE 1020 or 1026 steel and provides precision, improved tolerances, surface finish, and tensile strength, making it suitable for applications requiring high quality and durability.
Operating processes might vary based on the machine. Older models with two pumps cannot drive forward and cut simultaneously. Forward movement must be paused to initiate cutting. However, newer models like Kubota and any Yanmar that use three pumps can drive and cut at the same time.

“I worked with Austin to fit the ex30 mini to my 20 year old machine and it worked perfectly as soon as I got it. I have been using the mower for almost a year to clean 75 acres with constant abuse and not have any issues. This machine has been a must for removal of invasive Brazilian Peppers while leaving other native plants untouched. It really allows me to trim down the bushes to allow me to get in and cut the main trunks. It also allows me to mow tall grass and weeds where I cant reach with a bush hog.”

“Bought the EX30M and my brush clearing adventures are much easier. Used to hack at the brush with machetes and weed wackers with circular saw blades on them. No more mulching the brush either, the EX30M just knocks it down and mulches it in place.”

“I just received my mower got it hooked up to my Takeuchi TB25FR, works perfect, it's so balanced you can't even tell that it's running. I mowed 500 yards of stickers and grass along road even bumped into culvert, blades still look like new. This is built very well. I would recommend this mower to anyone needing one.”
