Eterra Hose Spring
Description
We designed this spring to be a simple and effective means to route hoses out of the danger areas while allowing us to have the flexibility to still use hose wrap and to let the hose move as required. This is critical to the longevity of the hose so to get all of these things together in one place, we designed it and are now offering them on our web site.
We use these springs on augers and other attachments where hose routing is over the top of the attachment plate.
As an online retailer of thousands of skid steer attachments, we have found that one of the most challenging issues we face is routing hoses.  There are so many machines that have different boom designs that it is next to impossible to have one method that works for all. This Hose Spring is a game changer.
Liability: Customer is responsible for proper placement/mounting of the Eterra Hose Spring. Skid Steer Solutions and Eterra are not liable for damages due to hose spring failure.

I am sad to say that the quality of the spring is not up to par. I purchase my first one in January and it soon broke after less than 12 hours of machine use. I thought that I needed to adjust the placement so it doesn't come into contact with the lower skid steer arm so I purchased a 2nd one and now it too has broke. Unfortunately this is on poor quality.

I used this spring loop to hold the hoses out of the chute rotation mechanism on my 3pt Snow Blower. It has performed very well.

Springs need to be 3-4" Longer, I stretched mine to make them effective. Would have been a 5 otherwise

I need to keep searching for a suitable solution to keep the hydraulic hoses off the tires. If there was a way to mount it on the left side as opposed to the middle where all it seems to do is keep it from getting pinched, I think it would work better. For the price of the spring compared to its ability to keep the hoses from getting pinched and off the tires, it falls short of my expectations. A longer spring might work better at keeping the hoses off the tires.

I put a hose spring on my post hole digger and my side arm bush cutter and they have tremendously helped keep the hydraulic hoses out of harms way. Every implement with hydraulic hoses should have these attached to it. Easy to install. Works great!
