Eterra Vortex Skid Steer Stump Grinder Attachment Description he Eterra Vortex Skid Steer Stump Grinder is built to grind stumps down to 18 inches below ground, giving operators the power to completely remove stubborn stumps and prepare the land for replanting or construction. At the heart of the Vortex is a high-torque radial piston motor, designed to convert 95% of hydraulic energy into horsepower. This means more power to the cutting wheel with less wasted energy, resulting in faster, more efficient grinding. The direct drive system with an oil bath enclosed hub eliminates the need for external couplers and constant greasing, keeping maintenance low and uptime high. The asymmetrical high-strength alloy steel wheel gives operators a clear line of sight, making it easier to position the grinder for precise cuts. This unique wheel design also spreads the workload evenly across the 12 replaceable cutting teeth, rock guards, and abrasion-resistant wear plates, extending their lifespan. Built from A572 Grade 50 high-strength steel, the Vortex is made to handle the toughest jobs. An elongated rubber chip guard absorbs impact and controls debris, keeping the work area cleaner. Whether you're clearing land, grinding out stumps after tree removal, or preparing a site for landscaping, the Eterra Vortex delivers serious cutting power without the maintenance headaches. “It does some freaking work! At the time I bought it, it was the only one in the country that was available. I was searching for the high flow but the lower flow version was better than nothing! The teeth are finally starting to not cut as well. BUT, I have done between 500-600 stumps with the set that came on the stump grinder. Super impressed!!!”

“After I was able to be very methodical on the stumps I was grinding this attachment came alive. My only gripe is as I get low on the stump...ie ground level and lower, vision is a little compromised but not so much that I'm lost. After a while feel comes into play and you know if you're taking too big of a bite or not. Overall, this as an extremely powerful and efficient attachment worth having for the forestry professional. Impressive indeed.”

“Very satisfied with this attachment. We will continue storm clean up for the next year. We are grinding all stumps in our landscaped area ( Appx24 acres) and others at our pistol , rifle ranges and food plots across the balance of the property (appx 100 acres). Thus far the implement has done all that I have ask and we have put it to "The Test". Thank you for a well engineered and fabricated product.”

“This is our 2nd eterra attachment and it is built like a tank. This is not an owner operator attachment throw your guys out there with it and don't worry it will handle whatever they throw at it. The rock guards work as advertised and protect the teeth. Love these attachments.”

“Got the attachment last Friday and needless to say it ROCKS! It is perfect for our farm, especially since we cleared 30 acres and stumps galore, and with this attachment makes a breeze in clearing the lanes of stumps between the planted hardwood seedlings for easy yearly maintenance.”
