Hi there, we've been fighting the Fargo Moorhead flood for the last week. We have all filled sandbags with all sorts of well-intended inventions for doing so. Our arms and bodies ache all over. Hell my hair even hurt when I woke up this morning. We passed sand bags, carried sand bags and worst of all filled sand bags. This morning my wife and I filled sandbags for about four hours by hand with a shovel and a person holding the bag method until our arms hurt so bad that we could not take it any more. We then hopped on a bus to be taken to where we thought we would be carrying and laying the bags we filled. Instead they bussed us to another site to where we once again got to fill more bags. So we filled more and more bags then about the time I thought that I couldn't feel my arms any more and was ready to catch a bus back to the volunteer center. Then this guy came over with a skid steer with something called a speed bagger. He said it was faster I thought oh yeah faster meaning now I'm just going to work harder. Much to my exhausted surprise it was faster. But it was also easier. We wound up staying another four hours and we only left because we had a prior commitment. It took seven people to operate efficiently including the skid steer operator. The work seemed effortless and smooth. The seven of us seemed like we did the work of fifty with hardly any effort at all. That is my testimonial and thank you. Sincerely, Todd and Paula Boucher
