“I’m disappointed w/ my new sunglasses. I’ve had a pair of Smiths that I’ve worn almost daily for a decade. Love ‘em! They were looking a bit worn so I got new ones. The build quality on the new glasses is drastically lower: they’re cheap feeling and not solid at all. A shame. And my old ones came in a nice case; these? A cardboard box. Ugh. The new ones look great and function fine but they’ll never last 10 years. These sort of choices are great for profit margins but we customers foot the bill while getting a lesser product. Capitalism encourages this but in the end it’s really a moral choice: are we willing to make a bit less money in order to deliver a qualitatively superior product? Smith’s answer is a unequivocal, “No.””
“Larger frame; stylee shades. Love the bone frame, lighter color (whitish) is translucent. Love the gold lens. Fit is good. My only suggestion would be to make a smaller version of this model, for small headed people like myself.”

“Loving these shades so far. I dig the bold wide temple look for every day wear, and they've also stayed in place for mountain bike rides and hikes. The lenses have a nice mirror and the ChromaPop optics are insane as usual. They feel well-built and comfortable.”
“Since these are a larger profile, it took me some time to get used to them. But overall, these shades have great coverage and the lenses are top notch. The frame style might be worth considering a second version in a smaller profile but definitely enjoying the larger style and additional coverage.”
