I have just purchased my 6th pair of SMITHS in the last three years! Many , many more during the past 44 years...I purchased the SMITHS, Lowdown, in Blue Camo Tort w/ ChormaPop polarized black lens. They’re way sweet in looks and way ready to run some river in 2021.
The SMITHS are by far the best glasses a river guide can wear! The frames are durable, those incredible lens for water, the glasses are light weight, they fit snug, even while bending down to look that the river...well, most the time anyway! HA,
The SMITHS have covered me in the best and worst of weather conditions, the GRANDEST of big rain, and dust storms that the Grand Canyon can throw at you and the rivers glare, can all get brutal!
I have always told my guest that "you can NOT put a value on your eyes”, get the best!
I do wish that you guys could figure out a way to fetch them out of the River though...ha
So, until April, PLEASE... don't stand so close to me!

“Love the shades, but definitely a bummer they don't come with a case. If you spend over $150 on a pair of sunnies, feels like throwing in a hard case to protect them should be a no brainer.”

“I was literally shocked at how quickly I received them without paying for fast shipping!
I lost my last pair, which I wore hard, during white water rafting on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. I overturned on "Bone Crusher" and I had given my sunglass floater to a friend and lost my Smiths :-(. I NEEDED another pair quickly as they are just the best and lightest sunglasses. I own about 40 pairs of other sunglasses and the Smiths are worn about 99% of the time!”

“I purchased the green tortoise frames, the green is very subtle. The lens are very dark, great for bright days, but to dark for overcast days. I find the lowdown 2’s to be comfortable.”
