“Many pairs of Smiths over the years, and these seem to keep the high quality and take it to a higher level. Optics are great, but the frame feels sturdier. The rubber on the ear pieces also seems better attached than on the Lowdowns that preceded the Barras.”

“I got these glasses as a replacement for the leadout model that I used primarily for bicycling. I chose the Barra with the glass lens and I love the glasses, they are a bit heavier than the plastic lens but the view is amazing...clear, crisp , and the fit is great, looking at the sky and vistas are crisp and no aberrations. This are recommended for fishing but use them for bicycling and I like that I can use them for casual outings and they look super nice and I get lots of compliments. I do recommend that for maintenance and cleaning, use the cloth that is provide it . Great glasses but remember that glass lens are going to be a little heavier and that may be a problem for the glasses staying on your face when you look down if your face is narrow.”
