“I like the style of these sunglasses. However, this is my 3rd pair of Smith (2nd in this style). My 1st two pairs both had delamination on the lenses. I used the warranty process, which was fairly easy and got my voucher to replace this pair (although they still made me pay for shipping). It usually takes a few months for delamination to start. So it is too soon to tell. I try very hard to take care of my glasses bc (to me) they cost so much. Except they must not actually cost that much to make bc Smith is ok in destroying the frame and lenses as part of the warranty process. It seems very wasteful and one would assume it doesnt cost that much to make the sunglasses if they are ok with breaking them and then sending a voucher to replace them. In other words it must cost a few bucks to make the glasses. So these $180 sunglasses are probably worth $20 (or less?)”
