“Wow just terrible. You'd think for this much money they would have gone the extra mile with these but they are just bad. Peripheral is bad, fogging is bad, for is bad, frame quality seems super cheap, the arms hit the lens, the arms also don't wrap around enough so they don't stay on your face, and on top of all of that the stink. Like the plastic smells like chemicals. Only reason they get 2 stars is the lenses seem alright. My knockoff poc devour shades I bought for ten bucks on Alibaba are significantly better. Super disappointed. Been wearing smith for years and years and they are just complete garbage now. This will be my last pair I buy.”
“Like the lens colour and that they are photochromic but the ends of arms scratch the inside of the lens when folded up , even when in the protective case if you are not careful.”
“My favorite sunglasses ever were the Smith Pivlock V2 Max. I bought multiple and have run many of them to the ground; figured I’d see what the latest lens technology can do. The images look great, but the Wildcat coverage can’t compare to the V2 Max. While the lens looks large, it floats a bit farther from your eyes and so peripheral vision is not covered. It’s also shocking how flimsy the frames feel on these - not only because of the cost, but because this is the same company that made the V2 Max. Is this still the same Smith Optic? Disappointed, will be returning these.”
