“I have Ray Bans (Polarized) and Oakley XL (Polarized). And I think they are really good. I came across the Smith Operators Choice Elite, seeing it on a television show. The style and look appealed to me. Had to do a bit of sleuthing, as I did not know the model.
These are literally the best sunglasses I've owned. Slightly edging out the Oakley XL. They are both great at polarizing, and cutting glare. But the Operators pumped up the contrast and colors (Chroma Pop is awesome!), as well as minimizing the darker shade other sunglasses give. Which is what made it better than the Oakley XL, for me. Keep in mind, I got the mirror blue lens. So not sure if the grey lenses will make things look darker. The Operators is also more comfortable on my face than the Oakley. Fits and sits better. These have also replaced my Bobster glasses for riding my motorcycle. More protection.
My only "criticism", is that for the Operators Choice Elite model, the Chroma Pop lens is only available in the Blue, and Bronze mirror lenses. I wish it had a Chroma Pop Polarized grey lens (like with the Guides Choice model). Also, I bought these a couple of weeks before Black Friday. Would've been nice to save some money, as Smith sunglasses are currently on sale now. Perhaps I can get an adjustment? ;-)”

“Glasses are very comfortable, and I like the blue tint on the polarized lens. Also, the wide lens provide an unobstructed view not blocked by the frame.”

“I love the look, the fit, and comfort of these glasses. My view is not impeded. The sides are thick and help protect my eyes from the sun coming in and reflecting off the inside of the glasses.
I have gotten lots of compliments on these too. Many people love the color and so do I.”
