“These are excellent glasses, they are very durable and provide excellent clarity for fishing. I’ve had cheaper glasses, typically with polycarbonate lenses, and they eventually scratch or fade over time. With these you’re getting a much more durable product with water glare reduction that makes seeing those rainbow and brown trout back in the run so much easier, so even though I’ve never spent this much on a pair of sunglasses, they’re worth it to me and Smith is great on their warranties so I know I’ll have them for a long time!”
“Fit is the reason I went with the Riptide. Most other Smith models are far too large for my fairly round head.
Wish the glass lens was available non-polarized, as I golf with them most often, and polarization tends to diminish contrast, making the ball a bit more difficult to see.
All in all though, a great glass.”
