“I really like this style and looking through the chromapop lenses (especially the glass lenses) is really nice but I had quality issues and got a canned warranty denial. These are my second pair of RipTides. I'm now seeing more reviews citing quality issues. These are way too expensive if Smith isn't going to stand by their products. Keep in mind Smith does not sell replacement lenses for these either! I'll have to do some research on other brands.”
“Sadly after only 6 months of light use the matte finish on the frames is flaking off where they contact the nose and ears. Overall, I liked the performance of the lenses and the fit of the frame but at this price point the finish shouldn't be failing so soon or maybe even ever.”

“I have worn Costa for years but have always preferred Smith lenses. Have a more clear and clean look to them and I dont get the inside reflection like I do in Costa. These are awesome for people with slimmer oval shape faces.”
