“After trying several other high end brands, Smith Optics fit my face perfectly right out of the box. While I assumed the lens color and finish would've been a little more "mirror-ish", I am a huge fan of the clarity and crisp detail. Being a newbie to transition-style lenses, I probably overestimated how much a difference they would provide going from a Cat 2 to Cat 4 level darkness. Even in the brightest FL sunshine and not seeming like they are very dark, they are still extremely effective at cutting glare and providing eye relief. I'm quite confident they will serve me well for our upcoming ABC and EBC treks before our Kili trek in January.”

“i have been a longtime costa customer of there Lido model. this embark from smith resembled there model pretty close and was hesitant to purchase but i am glad i did. I do have a slightly wider head but the arms on these glasses have the metal wire in the rear that is bendable and moldable to your head so they give a very nice locked on feel when you get them adjusted right. I am very pleased with the fit and finish and quality is great! the only thing i would like to see smith do is introduce more Glass lens models and colors please because durability is my top priority when purchasing a premium set of glasses and these are definitely going to be my go to!”

“Great Glasses. You can see in low and bright light without squinting at all. They fit well and block out the light from all angles. Used on a glacier. Only I missed placed the strap and I’m not sure if I can buy a replacement because the glasses are a little wide for my head and if I shake my head a bit looking down they will not grip well and fall.”
“I want these glasses but with a glass lense, it's a shame they don't offer that. Glass lenses are heavier and, the goggle inspired strap seems like the perfect solution to preventing them from falling off your face. The thin arms are perfect for fitting under your hat while the shields still give you light protection from the side, please bring the glass lenses to them.”

“I drive aprox 4 hours for work and by the time I’m coming home my eyes are always so tired. I did some research and they say for blue eyes to use the amber color lenses. The combination of the amber lenses and the side shields to keep the sun out of my eyes has been absolutely perfect for driving! I accidentally bought the non polarized lenses but it worked out perfect since I use my phone for work constantly. Polarized lenses make your phone all rainbow colored and it’s kind of annoying. Great glasses, great quality, great customer services when I was gunna return them because of the polarize thing but then they were shipped already so I never returned.”
“I am probably going to order a second pair of these. . . I suffer from migraines. The full symptom nausea, light sensitivity, etc kind. These glasses? Block sufficient light so I can function, blocking window light and keeping the light even from a computer monitor to a tolerable level so I can continue to work. Not exactly what I originally purchased them for but as a hack for migraines these things are amazing.”

“Ordered a pair to try them out in the Matte Black + ChromaPop Glacier Photochromic Copper Blue Mirror Lens. Liked them so much I just ordered 3 more pairs for all my kit bags so I never forget them.
I’m out in the back country, skiing and snowshoeing a month strait during the winter in the Sierra Nevadas and these glasses have held up great with constant abuse.”
