Had been wearing a pair of Colson bifocals for a few years and was impressed by them. Unfortunately they’re discontinued but the Guides Choice bifocals seem to be a very good replacement. Great optics and no issues with hinges or rubber peeling off. An outstanding value

Great glasses but the bifocals are a bit too large and are distracting. But, overall the best glasses I have ever owned. Very clear easy on the eyes.

My first pair of Smiths, after decades of “ the other guys.” I am very impressed. The clarity of the lenses is unsurpassed. I am an older guide, and the built in reading ( knot tying ) cheaters really fill the bill. They are in the right place. Very light weight frame, and a good fit. My only suggestion would be to wrap the earpieces in more for a tighter, more secure fit.

which the lens color was a little rosier and lighter shade it seems to be to dark and colors are muted.

I really like the Smith clarity lightness. I this is my 3rd pair of Smith but my first with reading bifocal. They arrived quickly and came as advertised.

These are true bifocals, not progressives, so there is a sharp line between regular and close-up lenses. I had hoped to use them for hiking to read maps and such, but the close-up lens caused too many problems with footing on rough footing (like scree slopes) that they were almost dangerous. Awesome for driving, since the close-up lens is everything inside of the car, while regular lens for everything outside of it. Good for socializing (outdoor eating - you can have sunglasses and read a menu or your phone). Also, these take time for your eyes to adjust to, since they can be pretty disorienting at first. Only gets four stars because I compared them to the Guide's Choice with glass lenses that I own. These lenses are plastic and just not as nice as glass. Between the plastic lenses and the bifocal, I do not forget I am wearing these, unlike my glass-lensed Guide's Choices. A really nice pair of glasses, but only for certain activities.
