“Lenses and Frame are great, but the nose bridge is a little tight and the pads on the temples are not as grippy as could be. Glasses don't seem to store well on forehead or folded as well as some other Smith glasses I have had.”

“I love theses glasses the lens are great they are very comfortable. There is nothing bad to say about the Guides choice I would definitely recommend them ro everyone that fishes or just enjoys the outdoors. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars has nothing to do with quality or performance the frame size is just a little large for me. That is just personal my preference on the frame size.”
“Review after 2 years of usage - With the assumption that we're comparing "Premium vs Premium" offerings, im going to be nitpicky - the Chromapop is awesome. I have snowboard lenses that use it as well and I swear by the technology for outdoor activity. Really does well highlighting features.
Fitment is very comfortable on the temples for day usage with the springs but if you have a thin nose, that bridge gap is pretty wide and they'll sit lower on your face. Avoid the glass lenses because the weight will pull the frames down to the point of your nose with any slight head movement.
I have a pretty big head (L/XL 7.5" hat size) head and theyre entirely too loose for usage on hikes in the alpines where you need to scramble a bit, even with poly lenses i found I was always pushing them back into place. I also had an issue with pretty consistent fogging from the outside corners of the lens when I got a bit more warmed up. They worked really well for kayaking with the lanyard attached, though.
In terms of this being their premium offering for a pair of shades - I would like to see more premium features on the frame for the price. IE- adjustable nose pad sytems, Mag lens changing systems, or swappable lengths on the side pieces. Basically, combine all their fitment tech into an adjustable pair of glasses that one could swap parts to get the perfect fit. Simply, something more needs to be offered for that price point, they're just kind of lacking inspiration.
Also, much more variety in lens/frame combo choices. I dont get the push for tortoise frame varieties. Guys, its not 1972. why are all the best lenses stuck in the tortoise frames? That sucks.
Overall, if you want a pair of glasses for walking the dog or doing low level physical activities - these are great. Paddling pushed their limits a bit. For their price point, I expected a bit more out of them for outdoor use and to that end, they did not deliver.”
