“My 5 year old plastic frame broke, not sure why. Smith provided a $150 credit towards a new pair after I submitted pictures. Not a bad deal and thank you for standing behind my investment for keeping the sun out of my eyes.”
“I didn’t get to try these on prior to buying, the glasses are good quality but the “glass” optics seem to be to heavy and I am constantly having to push them back up on my face… not SMITHS fault, it’s my own…. Went with a popular replacement instead of staying with what I had originally.”

“Sleek design and tough lens. Love the chroma pop lens for backwater and freshwater fishing. Built in croakies keep the pressure off the back of your ears when wearing glasses all day fishing or hiking the trails. Love these glasses and smith is fast and honest in resolving issues with lenses or malfunction. Definetly a great buy and have owned the guide's choice for over 4 years now.”

“These are fantastic glasses. As a guide I wear them all day every day, from daylight to dark. The igniter lens let’s me see the fish and bottom of the stream. The photochromic let’s me keep them on all day long without having to change glasses and the fishing specific polarization gives me an edge on the fish. They are comfortable to wear for a long time and the lenses are incredibly scratch resistant. These glasses are a mission critical piece of my kit and I use them every day.”
“I should have purchased the castaways. I returned the guides choice because they were slipping down my nose and the lanyard didn’t help solve that problem. Also the lanyard was a pain to put on and off. I believe the castaways address both of those issues. Unfortunately I have purchased a new pair from Maui Jim before I came across the castaways. If there is a sale in the next week I might switch to castaways otherwise I will stay with the Maui Jim’s”
