“This was a warranty replacement, and I did a little more research into the specific lenses before submitting my order. I previously had the Chromapop+ in the plastic lenses, and was very happy with how they performed. However, after reading about the glass lenses, I decided to try the Techlite Polarchromic lenses in copper.
They have been awesome! They do allow a little more light in direct sun (this is not a surprise based on the VLT %), but the clarity is unmatched by my previous lenses, and they still protect your eyes very well on bright, sunny days. They are excellent on cloudy/partly sunny days or at dawn/dusk (due to their ability to adjust to changing light conditions), and they are really comfortable. The glass does add a small amount of weight, but that is negligible for the clarity and durability that glass is known for, and they stay cleaner for longer (even my two-year-old’s fingers haven’t smudged these yet).
I highly recommend these lenses if you are out in the early morning/late evening, on cloudy or partly cloudy days, and you want excellent clarity, awesome color definition, and the ability to spot fish like a Bald Eagle.”
