“I’ve bought Smith sunglasses since I was in high school. They stand by their products and their customer service is second to none. The Guides Choice pair I just got are hands the best pair I’ve ever owned. The integrated leash and flexible temples are awesome. Couldn’t recommend them any higher!”

“Received damaged pair, missing part of the "S" in "Smith" (see photo). I initially assumed it was painted on and just missed by the machine, but then noticed it was actually a decal as the pieces of the decal were stuck to the inside of the case. Seems cheaply made for the cost, and makes me concerned that the other decalled pieces will easily fall off over time and normal wear (sun, water, sweat, etc). Nonetheless, accidents happen and I've wanted to try these glasses for fishing for awhile now, so I attempted to initiate an exchange on Smith's website, but their system was trying to charge me return shipping which I did not feel was fair as this was Smith's fault, not mine. As such, I reached out to Smith and let them know about the problem and that I would like to simply exchange the glasses for an undamaged pair. I received a response from Sheena who advised that my only option was to return the glasses and repurchase, no option to exchange damaged goods. Also no apology offered for the situation, inconvenience, etc, which would be considered just basic customer service in my opinion. I responded and advised that this is not a very customer friendly process when they are the ones who sent damaged goods, and I would prefer to simply exchange so that I incur no additional costs (shipping, discount code used on initial purchase no longer valid for repurchase, etc), but I received no further response, which speaks volumes. Guess I'm glad I'm finding out now about their poor customer service rather than later on trying to fight with them over a warranty issue when the remaining decals fall off. This was my first and final purchase from Smith, back to Oakley and Costa for me.”
“The Smith Guides Choice are quality sun glasses. I bought my orignal pair in 2015 and the frame accidentally broke. I contacted Smith customer support and was able to get a new pair shipped to me under the lifetime warranty. You guys rock!”
