“I have several pairs of these glasses in different lens combinations and the chromapop green mirror glass lenses are my absolute favorite. I'm partial to brown-base lenses since they make greenery really stand out and vibrant during the spring/summer times and they help differentiate sand bars or other features better in the tea colored water of the Gulf I'm often in.
The green mirror seem a little more true to color than the regular chromapop brown lense, while still providing all my favorite aspects of the brown lense, and I think I can keep the green mirrors on a touch longer than the browns or blue mirrors when the sun starts to set
The chromapop blue mirror glass lenses are the most true to color of any lenses I have, but they still have the chromapop to really make things...pop (I didn't want to say it) and I find myself wearing them much more in the winter months when everything is brown and the brown lenses bring out too much of it which can get a little depressing. They still do great for in-shore purposes and are really at their best in bright conditions.
The Guide's Choice frames are super grippy and provided excellent protection but the lenses aren't so large that you look like a goofball wearing around town, I think medium fit/large coverage is well described on the website. I use them for fishing, mountain biking, and wear to work outside all day and I've been very pleased with them. The chromapop hype is very real, everything just looks better.”
“I love these glasses, just bought my 3rd pair. Definitely go for the chromapop, you won't regret it. I work as a backpacking guide in the grand canyon so I deal with intense sunlight, these are my go-to glasses. I especially enjoy the reverse hinges on the arms because I put my glasses on the top of my head when not wearing them. The hinges make the frame not stretch out from doing this.”
