“Replaced my beloved (discontinued) Dockside’s with the Guides Choice this year. Guides choice are slightly smaller but not noticeable. Excellent clear lenses. I like with the matte frames that less light gets in through the sides - overall better for reducing glare. Smith was great about offering a warranty replacement because my Dockside’s had partially delaminated. Guides Choices chromapop- would highly recommend. Excellent for all water related activities but also light enough for everyday outdoor wear. My eyes are sensitive and these block out just the right amount of light. Only complaint is that the arms for whatever reason get stuck in my hair way more than any sunglasses pair I’ve ever had - like daily ripping out of hair. Slight design flaw there but only an issue if you have long hair I suppose.”
“Very light weight and well made. I like them much more than a pair of Costa’s that I currently own. I fly fish for trout in the NC mountains. They allow me to see and catch more fish.”
