“Frames fit me perfectly, so why change!? I prefer the glass lenses, and they just aren't as heavy as other name brands. But they are certainly more durable than plastics.”
“I bought these glasses about 3 months ago. I have been loving them. The lens clarity and crispness are amazing. Great for water sports and I was looking forward to snowboarding with them this season. Recently on a trip to San Diego though, I dropped them from about 3 feet. This was the very first time I had dropped them. It was on asphalt and one of the lenses shattered. I have owned Oakley, Ray-Ban, Arnette's, Sun Cloud glasses in the past and have dropped them several times without any issues. It just happens sometimes. But never had a lens shatter like this from one drop. I contacted Smith since they have a lifetime warranty, but was told they would not warranty them. If this is how they treat their customers, I don't think I will be buying any Smith products in the future.
Which is a real bummer because they had become my sunglasses of choice.”

“Fantastic optics. Cuts through glare very effectively. Went from the glass lenses to the Chromapop+, and the improvement in the context of fishing is noticeable. The weight difference is also very welcome, especially since I lift the arms off my ears with all glasses for comfort (very sensitive ears). I've dropped the glasses a few times already, and the lenses and the frame have survived unscathed, unscratched. Recommended.”
