“Unfortunately, this review is just as much about the Guide's Choice as it the Smith brand overall.
I've had 3-4 of these exact glasses before (5-6 Smiths over the years). My recent pair my toddler accidentally stepped on. Both arms broke off but actually didn't do any permanent damage. I small missing screw, but otherwise had all the pieces that looked fined. I called customer service asking for a part or help with service (fine to pay a fee). They're response "Yea, they're pretty much shot. We don't servcie these sunglasses and your break isn't under warranty. How about a small discount for another pair? That's all I can do".
So my review:
1. For the high price of these sunglasses, it's a big risk to you the buyer. They break fairly easy (as I said, I've had 4-5 pairs and when they actually broke, and previously those were on me. But now it's just a simple part and equally I'm out of luck)
2. Bad Brand, little-to-no appreciation for the customer. If your only solution. . . if "all I can do is". . . here's a discount to pay a lot more $ and risk the same issue. That's not a brand I can buy from.
It sucks, but I won't be getting Smiths again for both reasons above.
