“I purchased these to use for backcountry skiing/ nordic skiing/ and hopefully as an option for mountain biking as well. I have a very average/ medium size head (wear medium in Smith helmets) and these were too big to sit securely on my face. They are basically too big to use with a cycling helmet as well. The side shields and nose clip don't really function that great and doubt I would ever use them. I'll echo another reviewer that the rear strap was so big even when shortened all the way that it was completely useless. I also wasn't a fan of the "packable" case- for the cost of these things- it should come with a nice hard case. The blue photochromatic lens was the one positive and seemed to transition pretty well (and I'm generally not a fan of photochromatics so thats saying something). I tried both the Wildcat and these glasses and unfortunately Smith has just been missing the mark for me lately.”

“Bought these for XC mtb to keep dirt out of my eyes. Also use on fast road rides for insects/debris. Phenomenal glasses and worth the hefty price tag. Trail visibility is amazing and I can descend faster than my other glasses (Oakley/Tiposi)
Downside - they are heavy over 6hr rides and you notice the weight. Inside lens is harder to wipe for some reason? Like it’s different texture from the outer lens. I have to tuck the arms into my cap otherwise they fall down when I look downwards (don’t want to use the strap).”

“Maybe my second favorite pair of sunglasses. The only reason for the second placement is that these glasses are not meant for low nose bridges. The functionality of these glasses, however, make it so it's hard to not wear them all the time despite not being the perfect fit for my nose.”
