“Haven't had a chance to use them skiing yet but they have worked great on a few bike rides around town and fit under my Engage helmet nicely. Unfortunately, the first time I tried to remove the magnetic side shields they were very difficult to get out and the small piece that connects them to the frame broke off exactly like others described. I submitted a warranty claim to hopefully get a new side shield but I am concerned this will be an ongoing issue due to the design of the side shields and will limit me actually removing them.”

“I’ve used these twice and unfortunately, the removable side shields broke the second time out. I use these for steep climbs and big descents, and after the first time out with some fogging I wanted to remove the shields for ventilation. It worked perfectly and I didn’t have any fogging on my second time, but the piece where they connect broke. Worse yet, it broke off with a piece in the frame so I now have to risk damaging the frame to remove the piece even if I get more shields. I have reached out to Smith for help and I’m sure they will, but this isn’t a good experience for an advertised feature on an otherwise perfect product.”

“I got these glasses as an all-around pair of outdoor performance glasses. They have great side protection, and the lens is top-notch. I find the nose pieces a bit tight, and they don't fit under my Venture MBT helmet very well as the helmet pushes them down my nose over long rides. With that being said, I love them as a whole and would recommend them to a friend. I think they are amazing for skiing and climbing and average for biking.”
