“Love the Shift Split Mags so far. The split-frame design gives an amazing view and coverage. The ChromaPop lenses are fantastic and lens changes are a breeze. Lightweight and comfy too!”
“Pros: Light-weight, lens swapping is super easy, Nice case.
Cons: "adjustable" nose piece isn't really adjustable, the ear-pieces are close enough to your head where you have to wear them inside your helmet straps, and they are long enough where they touch my helmet harness. All of these result in a less than secure fit. As other reviewers have mentioned, they don't block the wind that well, probably because they sit pretty far from your face.”

“Photochromic Clear To Gray Lens: Fit is AMAZING. Feels like I am wearing nothing! But don't expect much tint or brightness blockage from the Photochromic Clear To Gray Lens. They do turn grey and appear darker in when you take them off and look at the color of the lens but for me, they do not dim ANY brightness at all. For me, there is no difference when the lenses are grey and I take them off and look at the horizon. The older rose lenses iI had were much better I for what I need. I use these when I start my ride in morning darkness and finish 40-60 mins later. Overall excellent frame and fit, works well in the dark, just would just not recommend the Photochromic Clear To Gray Lens.”
“Been very happy with these sunglasses since I bought them. Obvious high quality look and feel that I have come to expect from Smith. Super easy to switch lenses out, and the Chromapop has been impressive to say the least. Great coverage and fit, but my only small gripe is with the nose pieces. Wish they were a little easier/more flexible to adjust to get that perfect fit, but overall some great riding glasses.”

“I am a Smith maven and own several pair of casual and performance Smith frames. The Shift Split Mag is my absoute favority pair of performance Smiths. They fit well with my Smith backcountry ski helmet, my Smith bike helmet, stay on the bridge of my nose well, fit my large head well, light, easy to switch lense... love them. I've relogated my Smith Attack Mags to back-up status, and gave my Wildcats to my son.”
