“No idea why, but Smith decided to put the chromopop (or something similarly reflective) on the inside of lenses. This creates a mirror like effect making it difficult to see, especially if light is shining from behind. I actually returned the first pair I ordered, as I thought this was a manufacturing defect, but it is not. I love the fit and look, but the lenses are terrible for clarity, which is more important to me than anything else. If they can fix the lens reflection issues, this would be a 5 star set of shades, but I consider them defective in their current state.”

“This is my second pair of the lowdown slims, I love them. Once you’ve used quality glasses like this, cheap ones just don’t cut it. I’m a small person with a small face so I appreciate the smaller size, they stay on great. The polarized lenses are great for when you’re on or near the water.”
