“I went to change out my dark lens to the clear lens (since the daylight is shortening) and when I tried to disconnect the lens, it would not remove. I tried multiple times and finally really gave it a good pull and the top border of the lens came off. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix it and had to purchase an expensive replacement lens. I was truly disappointed in Smith as they made it out that the switching of lens was easy. I would not purchase another pair of Smith glasses as this is the 2nd pair to break and this was not covered under the warranty.”

“I have purchased three different lenses and after each 'first' ride they get weird bubbles on or in the lenses that are not removable. I thought they were scratches from road debris as I cycled but it appears it make be a manufacturing issue in the way the layers are bonded together. I love the way the glasses look but at $100 a lens, I have to opt for cheap amazon glasses. I emailed Smith for maybe a warranty solution but they didn't respond at all. :(”

“Needed a replacement set of lenses for the Shift MAG, super happy with them, loved the original lenses that had been damaged slightly in a trail mishap, and could not be happier with the replacement lens! Outstanding color from the outside, amazing field of vision and color as well as shadow contrast from the inside! Love them!”

“left this mirror lens in its fabric case in my running vest during a trail running race. the bag got a bit damp from a water bottle, the mirror finish bubbled and chipped off quite easily.”

“This is my second pair because I lost my first. In the mean time I replaced them with another brand that just made me miss my Shift MAGS. Biking or hiking they’re awesome. Don’t slide down your nose and no glare.”
