“Great pair of glasses. The lenses are crystal clear and amazing to look though. Frame fits very well and not heavy on your face at all. A little more curve and side coverage would be nice be almost perfect for an everyday pair.”
“The glasses are great but the fit of them on my face is not. They don’t fit well and they hurt me along the sides of my head don’t get if you have a big face won’t fit well.”
“Lenses are amazing for bright days, As advertised. Great color and contrast. Not super stoked on the fit, but that’s not on smith. Miss the old chroma pop photo chromatic glass, in better fitting frames, for my small, weird face.”
“The Barras feel well built. I got the optical glass lenses for scratch resistance and they are durable but heavy. I have a small head but despite that the frame is tight in my head. If you’re looking for a light pair of glasses I’d go with the plastic lenses and one of Smith’s many other frames.
These get 3 stars from me because of the fit of frames and I believe the chromapop glass lenses are a step down from the photochromatic glass lenses of my old Smith Chiefs. All a matter of opinion though.”
