“If like Ferando (from SNL), you believe "it's better to look good than to ski good", this helmet is for you! It's light, comfortable and looks nice. But as for performance? It's almost useless because the goggle does nothing to stop snow, wind and cold from hitting your eyes. There is a very large gap at the bottom of the goggles and even larger ones on the sides. (The side gaps are so large that you can easily put your finger in and touch your face or the inside lens of the goggles. )
If you ski only when it's clear, warm and calm, and you ski at slow speeds, the helmet will work If you are skiing faster or in inclement weather, your vision will be greatly impaired.”
“This helmet completely ruined a day of snowboarding for me. I was really sad about it. I was at Mount Hood and heavy snow was coming down and this with the way that this visor sits on the helmet. It made it very dangerous as I could hardly see most of the time as it lets the snow in. I would highly recommend getting a helmet and goggles separate if you’re gonna go with this brand”
“This is a fair weather helmet and goggle system only. Totally ruined a Northwest powder day yesterday, only made 2 runs due to very poor design the goggle system. Snow blows into the inside of the goggle and vision becomes totally obscured from the snow inside the lens. Of course you just can't wipe it out as you will destroy the coating on the inside of the lens! Any water dripping onto the helmet from the lift towers on a bluebird day will run down behind the goggle and onto the inside of the lens. This system is so poorly designed that Smith should be refunding all of us that bought this garbage!!! This system totally sucks and sound or later someone will be injured due to vision loss!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!”

“Pretty close to perfect. Clear vision. Good range of view. Seems like a quality product. Figuring out different ways to adjust helmet so goggles tighten to face.”
