“Just bought the helmet and used first time yesterday. Helmet is great and well worth the extra $$$. My Oakley goggles push down against my cheeks and nose, uncomfortable feel. I wanted to see about a good matched goggle and even glasses (Venture, Embark, Pursuit, etc. . ) that fit well. Most likely my face shape is the cause. I am in Breckenridge area until 03/21. Based in Fort Worth, TX. Any recommendations on vendors in Breckenridge or near Fort Worth, TX carrying Smith products in stock would be helpful.”
“Snowboarding in Japan today. Hit a low spot flipped and landed on my head. I hit hard enough to crack one side of helmet and buckle the other side. Thanks Hod and the safety features of this helmet I was able to dust off without injury. I'll have to buy a replacement. Thank you Smith”

“Helmet is super comfortable, vents great, and the removable ears are great for warm/hard days.
The best part of the helmet is that it works. Had a head on incident with a tree that left me with a broken collarbone, separated shoulder, torn rotator cuff, broken hand, and ripped ear. The helmet was obliterated, but I didn't even suffer a minor concussion.”

“Upgraded from a lower end smith helmet from a few years ago and am loving the features of this new model. Most of all, it is as light as a toque practically and integrated excellently with my Smith I/O mag goggles.”

“Not the warmest helmet. Adding a hood/liner helps, and not otherwise being warm means it works better as it gets warmer. Great integration with my Smith goggles, which never fog. Had an issue with a previous Smith helmet with the goggle retainer getting too stretched. It looks like the goggle retainer on the Nexus is not replaceable (which I find odd, as that is a high warranty issue. Had to remove foam from the earpiece to get music speakers to fit. Even doing that, the fit was pretty snug (same size as old helmet). But after a couple weeks, I have either adapted or it has packed out a little. I like the magnetic buckle. Light, but not the lightest helmet out there. Expensive, but my head is worth it.”

“Everything about this helmet screams perfection and performance.
All the vents have great air flow on hot days and on snowy days the air flow does amazing to keep my Smith 4D goggles from fogging up.
It is warm, comfortable. I wish it came with the Smith/Aleck headphones. Or at least a discount code.
I love the Smith products and how well they work together.”
