“This product compares well against other backcountry helmets on paper (weight, features, etc). The quality is better than others I’ve tried. I use this for backcountry touring and really enjoy how the BOA tucks away. I’m usually a small women’s in Smith and the Small in this helmet fits tight enough when tightening the BOA. Minus one star because the Matte Poppy color is more of a salmon pink and not a red. This was disappointing. And, removable ear flaps would be nice for those cold mid-winter days.”
“Light weight. No ear flaps for extra bulk. Nice ventilation--but, of course, won't hike in it. Fits well, and ability to adjust to fit a light hat underneath.”

“This helmet is so light that I forget it is on my head. No insulation = no problem for the uptrack or for wearing an extra warm hat on your head. I love not having to remove and store my helmet between BC runs or have something that runs too hot on the lifts. The folding backstrap is clutch to minimize space when packing.”

“Solid helmet weight is good and I appreciate the mips. Only two downsides is that the large helmet does run larger than my large Vantage helmet. And some sort of removable goggle holder would be nice.”
“The helmet is quite large overall, does not feel trim. My biggest issue is that the tightening system/cables comes down below my ears so when I cinch down the helmet my ears get pinched and with a hat on, there is no adjustment. The dial feels like it sits awkwardly low on the back of my neck as well. The chin strap is also odd, and when tightened the buckle sits center under my chin and the pad does nothing. I really wanted to like this helmet, but it doesn’t seem like it was tested for fit on small -average women.”

“Ticks a lot of the right boxes. Fits well - like smith helmets do. Very adjustable - a huge bonus for a touring focused lid. Seems to breathe well enough - don’t feel too hot in in so far. Clean looks are nice.
Dual (well, triple I guess technically) certification is excellent.
Headlamp fixing, though simple, seems to do the job well enough for late night Skimo races. All in all, very happy.”
