“Feels a bit tight on the sides so maybe try one on before ordering and the adjustability doesn’t do a lot. Other than that tho it’s a good helmet. I’ve biffed it pretty hard a couple times and it seems to be working so far”
“I actually like the helmet quite a bit, except for one key detail. The style and fit is great, lightweight, looks good. Sizing is spot on. Here's my gripe: the inner strap that goes around your head, in the back, has two pointed plastic pieces that aren't covered with padding like the rest of it. So, these two little hard points stick into the back of your head/neck. Other than that, it would be a super comfortable helmet.”

“Solid helmet with a nice design. The only downside is the matte finish scratches easily. Not really a flaw of the helmet but it does need proper care when storing it or it will scuff up.”

“The Smith Scout helmet fit is true to size and is easily adjusted. The helmet is very comfortable through a variety of temperatures and the goggle retention clip functions well. This was a replacement for a previous helmet that had broken and the customer service at Smith went above and beyond to resolve the issue. It truly gives me confidence to purchase additional Smith products in the future.”
